In DEPCO’s Automated Material Handling curriculum, students learn about the basic principles of automated material handling systems, including using a robot and a conveyor. Students begin by manually controlling the robot system and gradually work their way to programming the robot system. Science, technology, engineering, and math are all used when the students learn and use the coordinate system required for the automated material handling process.
