DEPCO Design Suite

Description

DEPCO Design Suite is designed to introduce students to 3-D modeling and rapid prototyping. Students learn about reverse engineering as well as how 3-D modeling and rapid prototyping are used in the design process. Students use SolidWorks and RapidWorks to create models and to improve and test scanned models. Students also learn about real-world applications for each process in every lesson.

Standards

DEPCO courseware is developed from the Manufacturing Skill Standards Council (MSSC) and the National Skill Standards Board (NSSB). Close correlation with these standards will provide students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the workplace.

Level 1 Industrial Training Center Includes: DEPCO Design Suite Training Manual, DEPCO Design Suite Instructor’s Manual, DEPCO Design Suite Installation CD, SolidWorks Software, ScanStudio HD Software, RapidWorks Software, NextEngine 3-D Scanner, Dimension uPrint Printer, SCA, Safety Glasses (2), Golf Ball, Airfoil, and Headphones (2). Optional curriculum includes the JetStream 500 Wind Tunnel.
