In this curriculum, students cultivate a thorough understanding of forestry and natural resources. Students are exposed to terminology, processes, and results gained in forestry. This exposure allows students to learn facts such as the cellular make-up of wood along with the reason leaves change colors. In addition, students are taught tree profitability and proper identification procedures. Lastly, students participate in an area-specific exploration of Cedar tree farming.
