Description

Students who have basic background knowledge of the CNC process will be able to apply their knowledge to real-life situations with CNC Lathe Level 2. In this curriculum, students will build upon the knowledge they gained in CNC Lathe Level 1. After a review of the CNC process, students set up the lathe correctly, key in specific numerical codes, and verify the code using the computer. The projects in this module will give the students an opportunity to work on more complex designs. The students will generate code, verify code, and manufacture a part entirely on their own.
